Read This First

These pages walk you through the first steps of setting your own webcomic up with comic_git and are intended to be read and completed in order.

The steps described in the Getting Started section also must be completed before any other section, so please be sure to start at the beginning.

In this section, you'll learn how to:

• Sign up for a GitHub account

• Create your own repository to store your comic

• Enable GitHub Pages for your new repository so you can publish your comic

• Install GitHub Desktop, which will help you add content and other changes to your repository

• Download your newly made repository to your personal computer so you can start making it your own

• Upload your changed files back to GitHub to be published to the site
